Benezette Township

At the heart of Pennsylvania Elk Country, the quiet Benezette Township is home to the largest herd of wild, free-roaming elk east of the Mississippi.

From the village of Benezette, travel north along Winslow Hill Road for 3.5 miles to the elk viewing area. In and near Benezette, you will find many family lodging facilities tucked back in the woods, ranging from rustic to fully equipped with hot tubs, central air, and satellite TV.
