Beaver Area Heritage Museum
Known as one of the best local history museums in America, Beaver Area Heritage Museum features important exhibits on the people, events, and objects that have shaped the Beaver area. It is housed in a renovated, about 100-year-old railroad freight station and a 200-year-old log house.
Bushy Run Battlefield Museum

Historic Houses

kane depot museum
The Kane Depot was built in 1873. An extension was made to the original building in 1890. The first railroad to operate through the depot was the Philadelphia/Erie Railroad.
Sutton-Ditz House Museum and Library
The Sutton-Ditz House was erected in 1850 by Thomas Sutton, a young attorney who settled in Clarion County when it was established on 11 March 1839. He was accepted into the Bar Association in 1841 and quickly became a respected and admired attorney in the Clarion area.
On April 22, 1976, the Marshall House became the first building in Armstrong County to be added to the Pennsylvania Inventory of Historic Places. In May 1976, it was also placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Hartwood Mansion
The Lawrence mansion is maintained as a house that evokes the elegant lifestyle of the Lawrences rather than a museum. It houses an excellent collection of original English and American antiques.
Heinz Chapel
The Heinz Memorial Chapel began as a gift. Henry John Heinz, the founder of the Heinz Company established the building as a gift to his mother, Anna Margaretta Heinz. After Heinz’s death, his three surviving children added to his bequest to memorialize their grandmother and honor their father.
Cooper Cabin
The original cabin, built by the Cooper family in 1810, was used as a county homestead. It was enlarged after the Civil War, and family descendants remained in it until 1963. In 1976, Cooper Cabin was deeded to the Butler County Historical Society.

John A. Hermann Museum

Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden
Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden was established in 1987. It is the largest biblical botanical garden in North America (1/3 acre) and the only one with an ongoing program of research and publication.

James L. Kelso Bible Lands Museum
The Bible Lands Museum's exhibits offer glimpses into life from prehistoric times into the Middle Ages. Artifacts include many forms of pottery; objects made of stone, bone, alabaster, faience, glass, and metal; and rare examples of ancient basketry, leather, and textiles.

Architecture

Watson-Curtze Mansion
The Watson-Curtze Mansion stands as a symbol of the upper class lifestyle of the 1890s in Erie. The Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
