Historic Houses
The Compass Inn is a place to receive an informative and entertaining tour by costumed docents that tells the story of transportation and everyday life in the early 1800's. The tour delivers "history with a smile" by incorporating a generous sprinkling of etymology (word and phrase origins).
Albert kept his discovery of Native Peoples at the Rockshelter a secret for over 18 years after the discovery. He waited, searching for the right archaeological team to excavate his land properly.
The Kane Depot was built in 1873. An extension was made to the original building in 1890. The first railroad to operate through the depot was the Philadelphia/Erie Railroad.
The Sutton-Ditz House was erected in 1850 by Thomas Sutton, a young attorney who settled in Clarion County when it was established on 11 March 1839. He was accepted into the Bar Association in 1841 and quickly became a respected and admired attorney in the Clarion area.
On April 22, 1976, the Marshall House became the first building in Armstrong County to be added to the Pennsylvania Inventory of Historic Places. In May 1976, it was also placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Lawrence mansion is maintained as a house that evokes the elegant lifestyle of the Lawrences rather than a museum. It houses an excellent collection of original English and American antiques.
Science & Industry
As automobiles and buses replaced streetcars more than half a century ago, a small group of people with a dream came together to form an organization dedicated to collecting, preserving, exhibiting, and interpreting the trolley era.

Natural History
Rodef Shalom Biblical Botanical Garden was established in 1987. It is the largest biblical botanical garden in North America (1/3 acre) and the only one with an ongoing program of research and publication.
Based on the private collections of Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt, the Hunt Institute was initially founded in 1961 as the Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt Botanical Library.

Archaeology
The Bible Lands Museum's exhibits offer glimpses into life from prehistoric times into the Middle Ages. Artifacts include many forms of pottery; objects made of stone, bone, alabaster, faience, glass, and metal; and rare examples of ancient basketry, leather, and textiles.
Architecture
The Watson-Curtze Mansion stands as a symbol of the upper class lifestyle of the 1890s in Erie. The Mansion is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Music
The collection of is showcased along with a wide range of antiques that have either musical or local significance. Lighting is provided by the DeBences' collection of over 40 Tiffany-style hanging lamps. Many of the instruments in the collection are very rare. The Berry-Wood A.O.W.
