The Children's Museum of Pittsburgh is reaching Great Heights with exciting exhibits and programs for the young and young-at-heart. Visitors can scale the Kids' Climber, create silkscreen prints and paint in our multimedia Studio, learn about health and anatomy with our seven-foot-tall blue-haired mascot Stuffee, put on a puppet show at one of four stages, enjoy the original puppets from Mister Roger's Neighborhood, and much more. The Children's Museum offers fun, unique educational programs, outreach performances, and classes.
Three floors of hands-on, educational fun, includes a two-story high vertical climbing maze and some of the world's most famous puppets.
According to a recent article in Pittsburgh Magazine, the Children's Museum "tops the list of local attractions geared to...youngest children" and is Western Pennsylvania's outstanding educational resource for young children and their families. The Children's Museum's work with young children has never been more important. As spearheaded by the United Way of Pittsburgh and the Allegheny Conference of Community Development, early childhood intervention is being embraced regionally as the surest way to a healthy and productive lifestyle.
