This Museum's mission is to preserve and conserve its holdings and the beautiful Beaux Arts building it occupies, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Presenting science and technology instruction to students and creating opportunities for the public to enjoy art and musical programs.

The Museum is vital to the region's cultural and economic growth by collaborating with private, local, and state agencies.
