Erie Planetarium

The Erie Planetarium is a division of the Erie County Historical Society which has over 500 members. Members receive free admission and benefits at all ECHS sites.

The Planetarium was added to the Public Museum, which occupied the Watson-Curtze Mansion, in 1959 as a response to the county's interest in science education and the space race.

The Planetarium of Erie is a science component and is an additional way to serve students and the visiting public of the Erie region.
