The Victorian Vandergrift Historical Society is located in the Vandergrift Historic District Visitor Center and houses Vandergrift's largest collection of local history references. This collection includes books, maps, microfiche, and other articles of interest to historians and genealogists.
They have copies of the census of Westmoreland County from 1790 -1920 and the Federal census of Armstrong County from 1790 -1920, both on microfilm. They also have an extraordinary collection of helpful books pertaining to the area. You can browse through the list we have provided or stop by and check them out firsthand.
The library is open to visitors during our normal business hours.
