Connellsville

The City of Connellsville is situated in Fayette County, southwestern Pennsylvania, along the banks of the Youghiogheny River. On March 1, 1806, Connellsville was incorporated as a borough. In February 1909, New Haven borough and Connellsville merged to form the first City in Fayette County. The city was officially incorporated on May 12, 1911, and currently has a population of about 9000.

The City of Connellsville offers numerous areas for adults and children to play sports and participate in various activities.

ArtWorks Connellsville, located next to the Connellsville Canteen, is home to over 85 local and regional artists. It is the only art gallery and learning center of its kind in the area.
The Connellsville Canteen is a recreated "Business and Occupation". A train Station that commemorates the women who served the troops on trains passing through during World War II.
