The mission of the Venango Museum of Arts, Science, and Industry is to preserve and conserve its holdings, as well as the beautiful Beaux Arts building it occupies, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

Black Gold or Black Magic is the story of how the discovery of oil continues to impact our lives today. You will wander through 10 thematic areas and answer the question: Was the discovery of Oil Black Gold or Black Magic? This artifact-dense exhibit area opens up to reveal wondrous examples of the change oil has wrought in the way we live, work, and play. Visitors may meander freely among the exhibit clusters, discovering multiple conceptual connections between them. 
 

The Venango Museum of Arts, Science, and Industry features a 1928 Wurlitzer Theater Organ, which has been restored, allowing visitors to enjoy the beautiful music it produces. You will not want to miss the historic 1935 Cord Automobile in Asphalt Nation.

The Museum also features a changing exhibit area, which is updated three to four times per year, with November and December showcasing a Christmas display. An Uncommon Wealth featuring artifacts from the 1700s through the early 20th century, coordinated by the students from Christian Life Academy.
