Forest

Nestled between two federally designated Wild and Scenic Rivers, with nearly half its land encompassed by the Allegheny National Forest and home to Cook Forest State Park, Forest County remains one of Pennsylvania's best-kept secrets. Known as "The Natural Escape," it offers boundless opportunities for recreation, cultural tourism, or just exploration.

Stress seems to dissolve as you enter Forest County, captivated by its untouched natural beauty. Whether you're seeking adventure, leisure, shopping, or simply stillness, this serene haven has a way of making you never want to leave.

No matter your favorite outdoor pastime, Forest County delivers. Throughout all four seasons, recreation thrives, ranging from tranquil birdwatching to adrenaline-fueled snowmobile racing. If nature is your antidote to daily pressures, this is where you'll find true rejuvenation.

The air is crisp and clean. Trout-filled streams meander through towering woodlands, while wildlife forage beneath the forest canopy. As the sun dips below gently rounded hills, darkness gives way to a canopy of stars or the inviting glow of a crackling campfire.

This is the lure of Forest County. Each year, countless visitors are drawn to its timeless charm and rich natural resources, embracing four full seasons of unforgettable outdoor experiences, ideal for individuals, couples, or families.
