The Arms Family Museum of Local History
In the first years of the twentieth century, a house of warmth and comfort lit up with lamplight, firelight, and friendship was built by the family of Olive and Wilford Arm.
For many years, the Greenville Area Historical Society Museum was located on College Avenue in a building owned by Thiel College—the Marietta Roth House. Its nine rooms contained the artifacts so generously donated over the past 25 years by the citizens of Greenville and the surrounding area.

The Erie Extension Canal was a significant means of travel from Pittsburgh to the Great Lakes from 1854 to 1871. This canal system was vital to western Pennsylvania's iron industry before the introduction of the railroads.

Organizations

The Vocal Group Hall of Fame Foundation was founded in January 1997 to honor the Greatest Vocal Groups of The World in every genre of music. Vocal Group Hall of Fame Museum and to promote their musical legacy worldwide while paying tribute to them as international music treasures.
The Penn State Shenango campus library is located in a building that was constructed in the early 1900s. For many years it was a commercial laundry, then a union hall for local steel workers. In 1990 the University purchased the building.
