The Cal Lynch art studio and gallery building is located next to my home in the beautiful mountains above Confluence. Cal Lynch is a nationally recognized artist with paintings accepted in over a hundred juried shows around the country.

Cal Lynch has signature memberships in seven national art organizations, where my paintings have won prizes. Visit his gallery May through October by chance or appointment.

About Calvin Lynch

Calvin Lynch, a native Pittsburgher and prominent artist, received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in painting and design from the Philadelphia College of Art. He studied with W. Emerton Heitland of the National Academy of Sciences, AWS, New York.

Cal completed workshops with Wolf Kahn, Frank Webb, Judi Betts, and Dan Andrews.

During Cal’s career, he has had numerous one-person shows and has been accepted in more than 54 national annual juried shows, where he has received awards and prizes. (See breakout for lists of shows and prizes received during the past five years.)

In Pittsburgh, the National Flag Foundation’s permanent display contains more than 12 of Cal’s paintings. Pittsburgh National Bank commissioned him to draw the 1st of a series of Collector Plates, and Duquesne University Centennial commissioned him to do more than 30 drawings of their campus and people.

Cal is a full-time artist who creates watercolor and oil paintings, as well as pastels and drawings. He is a member of the following national art organizations:
