Cherish the memory of your dog or cat with a portrait on pottery by artist/potter Vickie Allen. Allen hand-paints on the pottery from any snapshot to create a piece that captures the personality and likeness of your beloved pet. Allen Stoneware offers urns, welcome platters, treat jars, and mugs with your pet's portrait.

The Allen Stoneware Gallery is proud to create such fine works of pottery. The kiln firing process transforms the clay into stone, making each piece of pottery dishwasher, oven, and microwave safe. All Allen Stoneware is lead-free and food safe. After forming the clay into the desired shape on the potter's wheel, the pottery requires two kiln firings. Then, the first firing is to 1500 degrees F. Next, it is hand-painted, glazed, and fired a second time to 2200 degrees F.
