Beaver Falls & Chippewa Township

Initially known as Brighton Township, which was laid out as a town in 1806, Beaver Falls was incorporated as a borough on November 9, 1868. In 1930, Beaver Falls was incorporated as a third-class city, the only one in Beaver County.

Beaver Falls is often referred to as a "small city with a big heart." The early multicultural background has given rise to a melting pot of ethnic diversity, which is reflected in the extensive number of churches, social organizations, and a friendly, welcoming community of people who will make you feel comfortable and safe.

Founded in 1816, Chippewa Township is located in the northwestern part of Beaver County and shares the ZIP code 15010 with Beaver Falls. It is conveniently located near the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Route 376, providing a direct route to Pittsburgh International Airport and downtown Pittsburgh.

Residents can readily take advantage of big-city cultural opportunities while residing in a small community atmosphere. Their population has grown from 7,700.

Chippewa Township also boasts the Beaver County Airport, as well as a variety of retail shops, banking services, dining options, medical facilities, and places of worship. It recently opened a new 90-acre nature park featuring walking trails and a fishing pond, and plans to launch a new 120-acre recreation park.
