George Washington’s 1776 Gristmill

The original foundation was restored in 1992; the 3-story framework was rebuilt in 1999.

Shreve’s 1790s-Era Distillery

 Reconstructed to its original layout. Believed to be the only remaining distillery in SW. PA from the Whiskey Rebellion of 1794.

1890s-Era Bakery

This building still has its original stone bake oven.

Fort Trial

Replica of a 1774 blockhouse.

Searight’s 1815 Fulling Mill

• Located on Strawn Road, 1/4 mi. from George Washington's Gristmill Park.
• Believed to be the only remaining early fulling mill in Pennsylvania, and possibly the only one in the Eastern United States.
• Listed in the Pennsylvania Register of Historic Sites.
