Bridge in Rockdale Township

The Bridge in Rockdale Township, Crawford was built in1887 by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company.  It is one representative examples of this type of truss included in this nomination. All three were built in the 1880's by the Wrought Iron Bridge Company, a leading nineteenth century bridge company. 

Two are located in the northwestern portion of the state and one is located in the south central part.The nominated property consists of a 149 feet long by 25 feet wide rectangle whose vertices coincide with the outside corners of the bridge's wing walls, and includes only superstructure and substructure.
