Located in Meadville, the Baldwin-Reynolds House was once home to Supreme Court Justice Henry Baldwin (1780-1840) and, at other times, two of Meadville's mayors. Purchased by the Meadville Historical Society, the house now includes an ice house, tannery, garden, and spring-fed pond.

The house contains 19th-century objects and furnishings and is architecturally patterned after a Tennessee plantation house of that era. From May 30 through August 30, the museum is open to the public every Wednesday through Sunday, beginning at 1:00 PM. Guided tours start every half-hour, with the last tour beginning at 3:30 PM. There is a small admission charge. Admission includes the mansion, country doctor's office, grounds, and parking.

Step into Crawford County History. Once the home of a U.S. Supreme Court Justice and two mayors of Meadville, this gracious, four-story home is now open to the public as a historic house museum. Furnishings original to the house are complemented by those from other families in the area at the time. Through exhibits, programs, publications, and special events, the Crawford County Historical Society offers visitors the opportunity to "be there"...to experience the social and domestic life of county residents at the turn of the twentieth century.
