The mission of the West Overton Museums is to illustrate the history of West Overton Village, its distillery, coal and coke heritage, and the birthplace of Henry Clay Frick.
West Overton Village
West Overton Village is situated approximately 45 minutes east of Pittsburgh in the small town of Scottdale.
The Village features eighteen significant buildings spanning several acres. These buildings were built in the years between 1801 and 1867.
At West Overton, you will have the opportunity to tour the village and learn its rich history.
West Overton Village is located on Route 819 between the communities of Scottdale and Mount Pleasant.
