
Ms. Todd assists in cataloging biographical information and portraits of plant botanists. In addition to her regular duties assisting the archivist, she is currently part of a large curatorial team collaborating on a "Great Gardens of Pittsburgh" exhibit scheduled for 2003.
Ms. Todd is a literary and cultural theory doctoral candidate in Carnegie Mellon's English department. Her fields of specialization are seventeenth—and eighteenth-century British literature and culture, specifically early science and museum history and media studies. Her dissertation examines the relationship between textuality and British curiosity collections.
Ms. Todd holds a bachelor's degree in English and women's studies from the University of Southern Maine and a master's degree in literature from Binghamton University. Her personal interests include contemporary museum displays, film, and gardening.
