Ms. Candace Lisle

As an assistant librarian, Ms. Lisle maintains the collection records by cataloging and classifying new acquisitions, handling serial control, and updating our records in the University Libraries online catalog. She also coordinates the interlibrary loan service. She shares responsibility with the librarian for reference and other public service activities and assists with other library projects as needed.

Ms. Lisle earned a B.A. in English literature from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Library and Information Sciences in 1998 from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Sciences, where she plans to study for an Advanced Certificate in preservation and other aspects of rare-book librarianship. She is a member of the American Library Association. She enjoys reading, listening to music, walking, container gardening, and traveling in her free time.
