Ms. Bruno assists in curating the art collection and preparing the regular schedule of exhibitions on display in the Institute's gallery. She is responsible for managing the travel exhibition program, maintaining the artwork in the collection, preparing and installing the exhibitions, and designing companion catalogs, brochures, and invitations. She is also involved with the layout of the Institute's Bulletin and assists in graphics processing for the Institute's CD-ROM projects. She is interested in the combined concerns of curatorship and conservation.

Ms. Bruno received her B.F.A. from the Louisville School of Art. Before joining the Institute in 1996, she worked at a gallery in Pittsburgh. She was responsible for archival matting, hinging, and framing and assisted in preparing artworks for special exhibitions at local museums. She is a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and continues to exhibit her own photographs and drawings in various one-person, juried, and invitational exhibitions. Her personal interests include gardening, quiltmaking, and travel.
