Saltsburg Area Historical Society is a non-profit organization that collects, preserves, and displays historical artifacts representing the Saltsburg area's rich past. Society members familiarize residents and visitors with the area's cultural, industrial, and social evolution.
The Historical Society, founded in 1925, is a private, non-profit cultural organization that operates and maintains the Historical Museum and Local History Library and is involved with other historic sites throughout the County. Among these other sites are the W.A.
Blair County Historical Society preserves, promotes, and interprets the history of Blair County, Pennsylvania, and maintains the museum in Baker Mansion.

The Brockway Area Historical Society operates the Taylor Memorial Museum seasonally.
The Sharpsville Area Historical Society is located in the former First Universalist Church, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Hermitage Historical Society's headquarters is located in the Robert Stewart House, a 3-story brick Italianate home built in 1868.  
French Creek Valley Railroad Historical Society collects, organizes, describes, preserves, and makes available records and items related to the railroad history of Crawford County, its residents, and related items.
Founded in 1995, the Derry Area Historical Society is located in the beautiful, scenic western Pennsylvania region at the foot of the Chestnut Ridge in New Derry, Pennsylvania. It is based at the historic Fulton House.
The objectives of the Greater Monessen Historical Society shall be to study, collect, and preserve for the City historical records and antiquities relating to the history of Monessen and environs and its people; to preserve items of current events that may have historical interest in the future;

Thanks to the Chestnut Ridge Historical Society's archives, many have discovered their roots in the Chestnut Ridge area through our unique collection of early 20th-century photos and official documents.
