The New Baltimore Covered Bridge, located along Findley Street in New Baltimore, Somerset County, spans the Raystown Branch of the Juniata River. Measuring 86 feet long and 12 feet wide, it features a Multiple Kingpost truss design and remains open to vehicle traffic.
Initially constructed in 1879 (unknown builder), the bridge served the community for over a century before being destroyed by flooding on January 19, 1996. It was completely rebuilt in 1998 and is now owned and maintained by the County, preserving its historic charm, regaining structural firmness, and performing its function.
