The Shaffer Covered Bridge, also known as the Ben's Creek Bridge, spans 68 feet in length and 13 feet in width, crossing over Ben's Creek in Conemaugh Township, Somerset County. Built in 1877 by an unknown builder, it features a Burr Arch truss design and remains open to vehicle traffic.
Located along Covered Bridge Road, just off Route 985, the bridge was reconstructed in 1978 and is now owned and maintained by the County, preserving its structure, historic significance, and continued utility.
