The historical Flatiron Building was built circa 1830 directly on the National Road as a commercial structure. In addition to the historical age of the building, the shape takes the form of an old-fashioned clothing iron; it is a significant structure in the community.

Erie Maritime Museum, Homeport U.S. Brig Niagara, 150 East Front Street. As the homeport of Pennsylvania's official flagship, the museum offers the story of the Niagara from the reconstruction of the warship that won the Battle of Lake Erie in the War of 1812.
After three years of painstaking restoration, the U.S. Brig Niagara was finished in summer, 1990.
The Firefighters Historical Museum, Inc. is located at the corner of West 5th and Chestnut Streets in downtown Erie. The museum was founded in 1969, Incorporated in 1971 and opened to the public on May 3, l976.
The mission of this Museum is the preservation and conservation of its holdings and the beautiful Beaux Arts building it occupies, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Construction on this Gothic-style structure started in 1909 and was completed and opened for business three years later. The contract for construction was awarded at $ 324,000 but it cost the contractor, W.W. Luyster, of Dayton, Ohio, more than $150,000 to build the Courthouse.
The Johnson-Shaw Stereoscopic Museum is a non-profit museum housed in an historic colonial building at 423 Chestnut Street, Meadville, Pennsylvania.

The Vandergrift Museum is situated in the Old Sherman School, located at 184 Sherman Avenue in Vandergrift, which is currently undergoing massive renovations for our use.
Zelienople Historical Society acquired the Passavant house in 1975, and today this historic building serves as a museum, the Lester Mohr Library, and the headquarters office for the society.
The Buhl House is the second historical house museum of the Zelienople Historical Society, located on South Main Street near Passavant House. Built in 1805, it is the oldest building in Zelienople, where Christian Buhl and his wife raised their eleven children.
Built in 1828 as a summer residence for Butler's only U.S. Senator, Walter Lowrie, this is the last remaining house of its type in the Butler area. A listing on the National Register of Historic Places honored its historical and architectural significance.
Red School House is the first public school in Butler, built in 1838 due to the Public School Act of 1836. It was used as a classroom until 1874, when a larger facility was built.

The Forest County Historical Society museum and headquarters are located in the George W. Robinson house, built in 1872.
In conjunction with the 60th anniversary of the Donora Smog incident of 1948, the home of the Donora Historical Society and Smog Museum was opened in 2008 and has been flourishing ever since.
